Bob Proctor, What makes him so Successful? Mar 4, 2013 9:19 am Napoleon Hill was commissioned by America's richest man, Andrew Carnegie, to discover what made people rich. The result of Hill's work was published in his world famous book, Think & Grow Rich. Bob Proctor was given the book when he was 26, and that marked the turning point in his life and he went from poverty to riches almost overnight. But something is missing, something that baffled Hill before his death, and Bob till just recently; Why do only 2% of all the people who go through "life changing courses" succeed, and 98% fail? Bob and I discussed this in November 2012, and here's what transpired. ![]() Bob had a seminar to perform in New Zealand last year and he emailed me to call him when he landed. He wanted me to meet Sandy Gallagher his CEO and business partner. We met at the Hilton hotel on Auckland's Princess Wharf; what a magnificent setting, and for several hours, Bob and Sandy listened as I talked about Sandy's life, Bob's life, the times and events that stood out for them. Bob was so taken by the conversation he called Mary Morrissey, another highly regarded motivational speaker in the US, and handed me his phone so I could talk to her about her life; I hit the nail on the head about her life every step of the way. Bob was so impressed by what he'd heard, I was invited back to see them the next day. I learned Sandy was America's most recognized banking lawyer and she had bought into Bob's business a few years ago. However, what seemed to transfix Bob and Sandy's attention, was a statement I made about reversing the 2% accidental success rate that he, Napoleon Hill and all the others had, after putting people through success orientated courses. "Why not turn the odds from 2% to 98% success" I suggested. "If everyone on earth is unique, why not teach them all how to turn their lives on as individuals rather than using 'blanket training material' that fits only 2% of the population?" I showed Bob and Sandy why they, and Napoleon, are in the 2% group, yet there is another group that are 100% winners and they are from all walks of life. It is these people that became a part of my research, something Napoleon Hill and Proctor had no ability to study as I could. The Nobel Prize winners hold the Secret to Success but they did not go out looking for millions, they did something else far more exciting and were recognized for it. but there in lies a problem. 98% of people want to succeed but don't know what it is they should be doing; what the point and purpose is of their life. There comes a time when everyone asks the question; "What is it that will take me from a mediocre existence to one of wealth?". Thousands of people every year spend tens of thousands of dollars going to success orientated seminars to learn how to change their lives, but 98% of them still, like puddles after fresh rain, dry up and their enthusiasm evaporates into nothingness. This has always puzzled Bob, and the discussions we had, revealed the reason, and it's blatantly obvious when you learn why. What did Bob and Sandy start thinking after I explained to him what I had discovered? This had to be the reason they spent so much time talking to me, and why he got Mary Morrissey on the phone to hear what I could do, straight off the cuff, where I discussed her success, and life events, without ever knowing or meeting her prior to that November morning. I asked permission to record the conversation we had so I could send a copy to Sandy and Bob when they got back to the States, and they were absolutely fine with that. This recording is a gem, a bountiful wealth of knowledge that will soon be available to all who want a copy. The quest to discover the secret of success has been tossed around for over a hundred years, and the key to unlocking the suppressed wealth for every person just needed finding. 2% or 98%? The odds of you becoming a happier, healthier and wealthier person are just waiting for you to ask how to do it. Talk soon, I have some surprises for you. Peter Vaughan |
